Long, long walk...

I went to Pita & Olives again for lunch. Pretty funny when the owners recognised me and I got plenty of food! So full! They are always rushing because it was during the lunch hours and I saw the owner's mum got a burn mark on her forearm :( She even asked whether I enjoyed the food and of course I do...

Sabich which consists of grilled eggplants, hummus and tahini

I am a fan of eggplants and I really love the meal there, it is just delicious and healthy I must say.
I haven't been going to Urban Bites since the first day of work. Tired of lamb for a while. I have been eating lots of veggies and fruits. After I have known Vahan, he was the one whom made me start to love fruits... Hey I haven't really eaten fruits for many years haha.
The last time I went there, the moment I ate the lunch special, I had a nostalgic feeling: the staff never change, they still know I love their daily lunch special and they know I love onions and namoura..., the food tasted the same as well. But somehow, the yearning to eat at Urban Bites has long gone even though they have shifted and they even changed their plates, furnitures and interior designs too... Sometimes, things changed, people don't change. Sometimes, people changed, and things don't change...

Then I went to Royal Plaza on Scotts to see the F1 car which is made of pastas! The display will end on this Monday. It was made by a group of 18 chefs and culinary staff taking them 1130 hours to complete it!

Length: 4.4m
Width: 1.9m
Height: 1.3m
Wheelbase: 2.9m

Type of pastas used: Penne, Large shells, Elbow pasta, vegeroni spirals, wholemeal spirals, large spirals, spinach fettuccine, wholemeal spaghetti and squid ink pasta! So many types of pastas from San Remo!

I took a photo this afternoon again. There are many ships and ferries passing by!

This is taken at the North Tower at Raffles Quay on my way back home. Work ended early today because of F1. And in order to avoid the massive traffic jams as well.

Took a photo of MBFC again. I always love to see these buildings where the glass reflects another building or marina bay sands and see the beautiful sky. I think it will lead me to Raffles MRT if I am not wrong. I don't remember anymore, in the past, Fayssal used to lead the way.

Given the time at 1600ish, it was very hot. And I was burning!

So given the free hours, I decided to walk outside of Marina Bay Sands for a while, from front to the end. I just want to experience the crowds as well as looking more things. I was really thinking about Fayssal and how happy I was back then... Heinz as well... I don't know the situation. I wondered a lot...

So I walked pass the restaurants, one by one, also wanting to see the arabic restaurant, and I saw a person whom I once met before. This person was sitting down alone, using his ipad or tablet, having a drink; Ice coffee I guessed, wearing a white t shirt and a short. I thought he was Vahan and I really thought he was. My mind started to wander around. I told myself not to go back and look for him, maybe he was waiting for someone, why didn't he contact me, why didn't he talk to me for weeks, why was he here, why didn't he work today, and a lot, a lot of questions start to come to me and my heart was in sudden pain... So I told myself not to think about anything anymore and the fact that I really missed him a lot and I just wanted to ask how he was doing that's all, so I turned back and went up to him; hoping he was still there. I went in and tapped onto his shoulder. To my surprised, it was not him; I believed. I saw the wrong person, but how could that happen? But this guy is fairer, more fairer than him. More meatier than him.

I put my faith in something unknown, ended up you gave me nothing. Those pure moments were gone. I guessed you are not coming back.

I thought I saw you today. Same face, same expression, same dressing. I went towards you and saw you turnaround looking at me, but it was not you. I said "Sorry, wrong person." and walked away, turned back again for the last look, you was still using your tablet. But you wasn't you but you resembled you.
The tablet holder you use is red, but you is red as well? You broke your Samsung Galaxy headset because of me but this person was listening from his headset. You don't drink caffeine but fruit juices. I don't see you wearing sports shoe but crocs slippers or cover shoes.
Your skinnier in fact, even though you have a little tummy because you tend to eat a lot when your here.
Your taller than you.
You will always look at me from the back and you never.

I missed you Vahan. I hope we can get back again someday...

A Walk at The Promotory at Marina Bay

I took this in the morning! I was looking at the Google Map and I really wondered how to go to Marina Bay Sands in five minute! How am I supposed to go from Tanjong Pagar to Shenton Way to Maxwell to Central boulevard... It always takes me 15 minutes to there.

Shakshuoka, israeli cusine, middle eastern cusine
Finally, I went to Pita & Olives. It was a nightmare when they don't accept cards but cash. I ordered Shakshuoka and waited for like 15-20minutes. The boss said it's only available in Israel and they are from Israel of course. I asked where he is from and he pronounced it in Arabic! Lol. I was really confused till he showed me the words there, they even have a poster of Jerusalem. Israel is one of my favourtie places as well and it is in one of my travel lists.

The restaurant is pretty small and quiet. I like the environment pretty much but it is a bit crumpy. Of course it is a little bit slow. Hmmm I am still trying to decide whether I should go here regularly or Urban Bites. Unfortunately they don't offer set lunch as compared to Urban Bites and my favourite lamb and namoura! I am not sure how Halva taste, when he showed it to me, it doesn't look appealing though.

Meanwhile I was sitting and waiting for the arrival of my shakshuka, there came two Israelis and one of them is arab I am sure. The funny was, due to the lack of space, he seated opposite to me with his colleague I presumed. He asked me how was the food that he was ordering the same as me. I told him it was good. To be honest, it tastes pretty nice and I like it, but I do not like the waiting time. I wondered why I thought he was Fayssal?! I hope I will meet him again.

On a second thought, I might go to Satay by the Bay since there's a free shuttle bus to there during lunchtime in CBD. So I don't know, we will see. I wanted to go today but the bus doesn't come so I went to the washroom and it left without me! :(
Then I went to Thian Hock Keng temple to pray as well as visiting the Seng Hon Beo Temple.

The weather was very beautiful yesterday at 18h15. I took some shots again and I went to the The Promotory @ Marina Bay again. I think I will be going there everyday. I just want to see the weather and the tall buildings, also to remember the old times I have once shared with Fayssal. I just want to be happy...

Here was where the sun started to set and it wasn't so nice anymore... But I still love it!
This platform wasn't made before me and Fayssal last came here!

There is also a carnival running for these few days! They are just mini ones, designed for the children. Flea market is for the adults.

Hello CBD!

I am back to CBD finally.

New job. New work. New task. New life. Rediscovery... Even after a wrong choice... wrong decision...

So I am working inside a skyscraper building now. I even have a welcome sign!

Trying to stay positive. Didn't expect I will be going to River Safari again and it's this Friday!!!!
I went to meet up with Florence today at 100am, didn't expect there was a buffet in the office as well, was planning to go to Pita & Olives, thought it was level one and couldn't find; it is located at level three when I searched again on the web.
I might be going there tomorrow or I might go to The Bank Bar at Asia Square for some vodka. :)
I have been praying a lot. I went to Thian Hock Keng Temple ever since I started my first job there. I already have a feeling there, hence I will still go back to pray.

Fact is, I have been thinking a lot. I will see where life takes me in the upcoming months. The person once cared for me has left, the other one as well. The last one told me he cares from the moment we met, but he doesn't care anymore. He has been too busy occupied with other stuff.
I realised I have been trapped in this African's doctrine that is where I will never get out... Heinz... Fayssal...

Guess what? I am also going back to Marina Bay Sands! I just love the happy moments there that I once shared with Fayssal.
For me, Marina Bay Sands will always be a very special place in my heart.
In fact, I was there yesterday but I forgotten to bring my camera.
I have decided to be bold enough to walk further in to explore the views and the buildings there The Promontory at Marina Bay. I am not sure why the river is pretty polluted and has a strong smell though and I thought I saw fish!

Whenever I see these tall buildings, I would look at them and tell myself not to go back as soon as I can. I just want to stay there to look at them as much as I can. The night view is even better I guess or vice versa. The night view showcases the light and the Wonder Full which would reflect from the buildings. In the day, I would be able to see the buildings clearly.
Wondered if I would be able to stay here someday, after all, there's already a feeling for me in here.

Not sure if I would have the opportunity to go to Spike Asia this coming Sunday. I am going to ask for it again tomorrow since I already emailed Laura today. Otherwise, I would be deadly depressed.
