Long gone happiness

I was out with Lev yesterday. He was saying, it doesn't make any sense when we just chat and couldn't meet. He has a point.
So we met at City Hall and went to Marina Bay Sands whilst walking again! Nightmare and so stubborn.. Lol.
I was pretty upset yesterday.. But ah well, glad we met.
We were at the Padang and saw a little small crocodile swimming there. It was just so cute!

I took this at 19ish! :)

Just chatting and not much, I am too boring for him. He is very different from Vahan. Of course, everyone is different. In fact, I was thinking about my happy moments with Fayssal. :)
I wondered a lot about Fayssal that I dreamt of him! It was a long conversation between me and Fayssal in the dream, that he was finally back again and we met again :)
Really very happy moments... Maybe because I went to the place where us used to walk..
The problem I realised is, no matter what kind of persons I met, they will never be the same like Fayssal... because everyone is different :(

To be honest, I am still not over it- Dubai. I told Sasha as well but ah well yeah... I even told her about the second reason going to Dubai is because of Fayssal. I meant come on, since you would be there, might as well take the opportunity to find him as well! Just want to know he is safe and that's all and nothing else!!!

I really thought about Fayssal. And listening to Justin Timberlake- Mirrors.

"If you ever feel alone and the glare makes me hard to find
Just know that I'm always parallell on the other side"
I just can't wait till my trip to Vietnam! Oh yes, Fayssal would be shocked to know if I would be travelling again! That just what I always do! :)
I told Thong and I really thought he booked a hotel for me there and he was planning to fetch me because he would be working that day at HCM. What a coincidence and luckily he didn't book for me otherwise, why is my liberty?!

Long, long walk...

I went to Pita & Olives again for lunch. Pretty funny when the owners recognised me and I got plenty of food! So full! They are always rushing because it was during the lunch hours and I saw the owner's mum got a burn mark on her forearm :( She even asked whether I enjoyed the food and of course I do...

Sabich which consists of grilled eggplants, hummus and tahini

I am a fan of eggplants and I really love the meal there, it is just delicious and healthy I must say.
I haven't been going to Urban Bites since the first day of work. Tired of lamb for a while. I have been eating lots of veggies and fruits. After I have known Vahan, he was the one whom made me start to love fruits... Hey I haven't really eaten fruits for many years haha.
The last time I went there, the moment I ate the lunch special, I had a nostalgic feeling: the staff never change, they still know I love their daily lunch special and they know I love onions and namoura..., the food tasted the same as well. But somehow, the yearning to eat at Urban Bites has long gone even though they have shifted and they even changed their plates, furnitures and interior designs too... Sometimes, things changed, people don't change. Sometimes, people changed, and things don't change...

Then I went to Royal Plaza on Scotts to see the F1 car which is made of pastas! The display will end on this Monday. It was made by a group of 18 chefs and culinary staff taking them 1130 hours to complete it!

Length: 4.4m
Width: 1.9m
Height: 1.3m
Wheelbase: 2.9m

Type of pastas used: Penne, Large shells, Elbow pasta, vegeroni spirals, wholemeal spirals, large spirals, spinach fettuccine, wholemeal spaghetti and squid ink pasta! So many types of pastas from San Remo!

I took a photo this afternoon again. There are many ships and ferries passing by!

This is taken at the North Tower at Raffles Quay on my way back home. Work ended early today because of F1. And in order to avoid the massive traffic jams as well.

Took a photo of MBFC again. I always love to see these buildings where the glass reflects another building or marina bay sands and see the beautiful sky. I think it will lead me to Raffles MRT if I am not wrong. I don't remember anymore, in the past, Fayssal used to lead the way.

Given the time at 1600ish, it was very hot. And I was burning!

So given the free hours, I decided to walk outside of Marina Bay Sands for a while, from front to the end. I just want to experience the crowds as well as looking more things. I was really thinking about Fayssal and how happy I was back then... Heinz as well... I don't know the situation. I wondered a lot...

So I walked pass the restaurants, one by one, also wanting to see the arabic restaurant, and I saw a person whom I once met before. This person was sitting down alone, using his ipad or tablet, having a drink; Ice coffee I guessed, wearing a white t shirt and a short. I thought he was Vahan and I really thought he was. My mind started to wander around. I told myself not to go back and look for him, maybe he was waiting for someone, why didn't he contact me, why didn't he talk to me for weeks, why was he here, why didn't he work today, and a lot, a lot of questions start to come to me and my heart was in sudden pain... So I told myself not to think about anything anymore and the fact that I really missed him a lot and I just wanted to ask how he was doing that's all, so I turned back and went up to him; hoping he was still there. I went in and tapped onto his shoulder. To my surprised, it was not him; I believed. I saw the wrong person, but how could that happen? But this guy is fairer, more fairer than him. More meatier than him.

I put my faith in something unknown, ended up you gave me nothing. Those pure moments were gone. I guessed you are not coming back.

I thought I saw you today. Same face, same expression, same dressing. I went towards you and saw you turnaround looking at me, but it was not you. I said "Sorry, wrong person." and walked away, turned back again for the last look, you was still using your tablet. But you wasn't you but you resembled you.
The tablet holder you use is red, but you is red as well? You broke your Samsung Galaxy headset because of me but this person was listening from his headset. You don't drink caffeine but fruit juices. I don't see you wearing sports shoe but crocs slippers or cover shoes.
Your skinnier in fact, even though you have a little tummy because you tend to eat a lot when your here.
Your taller than you.
You will always look at me from the back and you never.

I missed you Vahan. I hope we can get back again someday...

Lunch journey to Gardens by the Bay

Pretty lovely! The weather was good, luckily it didn't rain. Surprisingly, my colleagues were saying it rained heavily in CBD and I was like no?

I went to explore Gardens by The Bay and prior to my previous post where I went to Verandah.

The Windy Wind!

The road to Heritage Gardens
This is a statue by Marc Quinn. It shows a little child almost floating in the air by lifting one of his hands up for support.
It is called Planet.

Fishes were gathering here because they thought I was going to feed them!

Lavender flowers!

The timing to the two Bays!
Actually what I noticed from taking the bus for these past days was that, the people were actually taking advantages of the buses. Some of them took from Bangkok Bank and stopped at The Promontory. There were even people asking what is Satay by The Bay and asking whether does the bus go to The Esplanade.

Well I was pretty upset and disappointed to be honest. I wanted to go to Spike Asia 2013 and they actually asked for volunteers. They gave this opportunity to another colleague because she is from China and our clients are from China. So I went up last week to ask again as I did not get an answer from the head and she went to Hong Kong. So the other person said she was part of it and asked me for my details and would get back to me to assist during the weekdays, later, I got news again. She wasn't present at work so the assistant gave me her contact to give her a call. I called her and she sounded unhappy, saying she doesn't know and would get back to me.

In this world, there are three kinds of people.
One, who doesn't bother to reply you, which makes you feel uncertain whether you would be going or not. Two, who gave you false hope; telling you this could happen and that could happen, but ended up saying they don't know, they have to check and would get back to you.
If they are not interested or have enough people to assist, why can't they just tell me or drop me an email so I don't have to wait for something stupidly that would never happen seriously?
Third, who gives you a direct answer. Telling you, yes or no; with a valid reason. I like the third one.

After all, I could only say they are so proud, so fake, so shallow, so judgemental, like the previous agency.
I could only say good luck to them in their life and look in the mirror instead. Luckily I was not part of that agency.

Lunch at Verandah- Gardens by The Bay

I took the shuttle bus again. The interval is actually based on estimation. Luckily I was there before the bus arrived!

I went to Verandah for lunch.

Verandah is a contemporary asian bistro(with a touch of western as well) which features the local delicacies as well as the western.

I really like this cosy environment; surrounded by woods, plants and leaves, happily viewing the outdoor. I love the interior design inside there.

Daily Roasted Rosemary Chicken S$15++

So I ordered the Daily Roasted Rosemary Chicken which comes with either a Sprite or Coke. This dish comes with mashed potatoes with bacon bits and really roasted juicy baby carrots and roasted string beans.I really enjoyed it!

You can choose from Claypot Tom Yam Seafood Soup with rice, also Traditional Beef Bologna adding a soup with an additional S$4++.

This moment reminded me of Daphne. I had Rosemary Chicken at her house too where Lily made it for us and Tanguy. I just remembered how much she has done for me and how long we have been together. I love her a lot.

Looking outside the french window, beautiful moments and memories :)

I was applauded by the staff there. The staff there are really helpful and well manner(greeting everyone whom went in and out). I really like their service and would definitely go back again :)

A walk to the Satay by The Bay

So I took the bus yesterday to Satay by The Bay. That was my first time there! I was pretty excited. I just want to explore around during my stay here in CBD.

Satay by the Bay entrance

It was located just next to Gardens by The Bay. I thought there is going to be a row of restaurants but it is a food court featuring all the local delicacies. I had chicken rice. The staff or the stall vendors were pretty polite and nice. The food court is pretty wide and big. I guessed it would be very crowded at night.

It is pretty quiet in the noon and the free shuttle bus is being sponsored by Satay by The Bay for the people in CBD to come here for lunch.
Sometimes, I think running a business in F&B might be tough. It all depends on the quality of the food, the quantity of the food and the location as well. But one thing I love about F&B are the people. They are very hardworking people as my mum was one of them as well.

I am still trying to explore the areas around Satay by The Bay.

The bridge brought me closer to Gardens by The Bay
The pond. It seems pretty dirty and the leaves were turning more yellowish.

Just taking a photo of myself :) Windy day! I was glad it didn't rain!

I saw the Singapore Flyer! I have never seated at the Singapore Flyer before, I was there last year for a job interview but it didn't happen and I was glad. Just suddenly thought of Fayssal. We had the intention to go up there but it was pretty expensive and that time for the both of us, so we didn't go. I am just very happy whenever I thought of the both of us. :) In fact, back then I was really happy. Ah well, life still has to go on...

That was only a walk through in Satay by The Bay. I haven't have got the time to go to Gardens by The Bay yesterday, otherwise, I would have missed the bus. In fact, I took the shutter bus today and went to Gardens by The Bay. So stay tuned, I will be updating soon!
